Wonderfully crazy!

Wow I can't believe that it has been 3 weeks since I posted last! Life has gotten very full and busy and we have been having lots of fun. Hunter is loving preschool and is learning a lot of fine motor skills and social skills. Brayden and I stay and watch the kids during their circle time in the morning and then we leave and have some special time together. It has been a real joy to get to have some alone time with just Brayden, he just turned 18 months this past Saturday and I can't believe we are here already. He is really starting to talk mostly in his own baby language but he understands most everything we ask him to do. The last week that Sean was in Portland, Brayden wanted to talk to Sean on the phone after Hunter did and he held a conversation with Sean and was really proud of himself when he handed me the phone. Sean of course was as shocked as I was and we got to have a proud parent moment.

Sean as of last week is working back in Washington and we are so thankful to have him back and be into our normal routine. Hunter loves being able to pick which one of us reads him his bed time story now and Brayden does a little dance by the door when Sean pulls down the driveway. It melts my heart to know how much the kids missed him and that they are as excited as I am that we see him every night.

Bath time before Hunter's first school picture day last week!

Getting ready to leave and Hunter told me he was going to help me by putting Brayden's shoes on. Brayden was really good and laid there while Hunter did it.

Out in the yard the boys were driving the car together and when the battery died they decided to go play on the slide. Hunter is a very helpful brother, he was waiting at the bottom of the slide for Brayden so he wouldn't be scared. I took this time to pull some of my wildflower seeds for next spring.

Our friends Leroy and Julie Gonzales have an annual Oktoberfest every year and this year it was fantastic weather! The kids had a blast playing and the parents got to eat great food, drink some good beer and catch up.
