We have been enjoying preschool immensely and today Brayden and I had our first mommy/toddler class. We will be taking this class on Thursdays for the next 8 weeks while Hunter is a preschool. We just had our first field trip with preschool last week to the zoo. Unfortunately it poured the hardest of the year that day and there were storm warnings, but we toughed it out and stayed in the aquarium area. We ventured out to see the polar bears and then we went home. We were cold and wet and we all took some great naps that day! Hunter is blossoming in preschool and I am so lucky that we found this preschool since I have heard horror stories from other mom's first preschool experiences. Teacher Kim is great with the kids and Hunter and I look forward to my volunteer days in the class. Hunter can now write his name very well, he is learning the sounds of different letters and each week learns to count a little farther thanks to learning the months and the days.

Brayden is weeks away from turning 2 but has already found comfort in acting like a 2 year old. His favorite thing to say right now is "no, no" and "mom" to make sure he has my attention. He is a busy 2 year old and can now open the childproof handles on the doors. This has caused me many messes from the pantry, one of which I took a picture. I definitely remember this with Hunter, quiet time to use the bathroom is nonexistent for the next couple years because you can't leave a 2 year old out of your sight for more than 30 seconds.
