Easter weekend

We had a fun Easter weekend with the kids! On Saturday we took the boys to the civic center for the annual Easter egg hunt. It was raining so the hunting was done inside. Sean and Hunter went to the preschool room and Brayden and I went up to the toddler room. It was very hard for the toddlers to sit still in a room filled with eggs waiting for it to be time. Brayden surprised me by being very patient and waiting. A couple times he told another little boy "no, no, baby" when the little boys would touch an egg. We saw about half of Hunter's preschool class and that really made his day since it had been spring break the week before.

Sunday we got up and headed north for brunch where I hid 72 eggs for the kids to find. Then we headed south to celebrate Easter and Brayden's 2nd birthday and then it was time to head home. It was a fun and exhausting day!

Blowing out the candles.

Bunny butt cupcakes I made for Brayden's birthday.

Angel food cake, strawberries, banana pudding and whip cream. Heaven for kids and adults.

Cousin T.J. helping Hunter find the eggs.

Once the kids got inside with their eggs, instead of asking someone to help him, Brayden figured out if he bit down on the egg it would pop open and then he could open it with his hands. Such a stubborn but very intelligent little boy.

Ooohhhh......I see it!

Hunter explaining to Brayden that they have to wait to go outside and get the eggs.

Goofy face.
