4th of July

This year we spent 4th of July at Matt and Merrilee's house. It was nice to have Sean home and all 3 kids together to celebrate. Julie and Leroy came over with their two girls, Julie's sister came too with her son Ryan who is Brayden's age. There were a lot of kids to play with and I know that our kids really enjoyed themselves. We had a great 4th barbecue with hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, and corn on the cob. We played in their big pool, the slip and slide and with water balloons. When it got to be time for fireworks I was exhausted from the days activities. Brayden went down to sleep and Sean and Matt took the teenage boys down to the Purdy Spit to let off their big fireworks and Leroy stayed behind and let off the little kids fireworks. The kids were excited for the smoke bombs, snakes and sparklers. It was really nice and relaxing to sit above by the pool and watch all the fireworks that were going off around us. When it was time to go we had 3 exhausted children who slept in very late Sunday morning.
