Our Camping Weekend

Our camping trip was fantastic. We ended up meeting everyone at a grocery store in Burlington and then we followed Kati and Miguel to Baker Lake. It was a private camp ground owned by individuals and there was a lake to canoe or fish in, a swimming pool and hot tubs and lots of roads to go on nature walks. It was very peaceful and Hunter and I had a great time sleeping in our tent. Hunter thought it was pretty cool to have mom sleeping next to him and he wanted to talk instead of sleep. There were water guns to play with and frogs galore on the roads, we picked flowers and made head pieces. We ate lots of yummy camping food and Peyton and Hunter even played doctor which we all got a good laugh about, except Miguel who said he was keeping a close eye on my son. Hunter was thrilled to use his new walkie talkie's and he ran all our flashlights batteries out. This was a great experience to share with him. The last night we were there I ended up getting a little sick but it didn't spoil the good times that we had! I am looking forward to our next camping trip and hope that it will be with Sean and all the kids.
